How It Works
Digital gift cards can be purchased online through a collaboration with Yiftee, a leader in digital community gift card programs. Cards can be emailed to the recipient, or printed out, with a customizable a message.
To use, access the card via the email you receive or by scanning the QR code provided on the print version. You'll see the Down4Erie card with all the info you'd find on a typical credit card. Present it to the business of your choosing at checkout or, more conveniently, add to your phone's virtual wallet for quick and easy access in the near future!

Want your business to participate?
Businesses can join the program at no cost to them, and no new equipment required! It's as simple as inputting an activation card into your POS system the same way as you would a manual credit card entry, with tap-to-pay coming soon.

"What if I have a paper gift certificate?"
PLEASE NOTE: We can no longer accept gift certificates that are 5 years or older
The digital Down4Erie program will replace the paper gift certificate program. Anyone holding the former paper gift certificate may still redeem it, but they are no longer sold.
While we switched to the digital gift card platform, we still honor the paper gift certificates if businesses choose to accept them. Please note, however, that the above link of participating businesses is the most up to date for accepting the Down4Erie card, but they may not accept the paper certificates. Some of the businesses listed on your paper gift certificate may no longer accept the old vouchers—whether per preference or unfamiliarity. It would be best to call a business in advance if you would like to check that they accept paper gift certificates.
