Putting Money Where Our Mission Is
Any person(s) owning property in Erie Downtown Partnership’s boundaries is eligible to apply. Qualifying commercial properties include single-purpose retail and office buildings and mixed-use buildings containing combinations of retail, office, and residential apartments. If you are a merchant located in Erie Downtown’s defined area, but do not own the property from which you operate, you may still be eligible with the property owner’s consent.
COVID-19 Relief & Recovery Grant

This grant helps small businesses within the defined downtown service area with the costs associated with compliance, marketing, and planning related to the COVID-19 pandemic. This is NOT a reimbursement grant and the grant will fund up to $5,000 of an eligible and approved cost. Applicants must have a 1:1 match. Applications are received on a rolling basis and reviewed and approved by a Relief + Recovery Taskforce until funds are completely allocated.

Facade Grant Program
This grant is a reimbursement grant for improvements made to the exterior of a commercial building to include affixed signage, lighting, door and window replacement, awnings, masonry work, and painting. This reimbursement grant will fund up to $10,000 of an eligible and approved façade project and applicants must have a 1:1 match. Applications are received on a rolling basis and reviewed and approved by a façade review committee until funds are completely allocated.
