The Erie Downtown Partnership has launched a new digital gift card program, which will replace the paper gift certificate program. Digital gift cards can be purchased online through a collaboration with Yiftee (linked below), a leader in digital community gift card programs. Digital gift cards can be purchased in denominations of $10, $25, $50, or an amount of your choosing. The digital gift cards are accepted at over 25 small businesses in downtown Erie, with businesses being added each week. To sign up your business to accept the new digital gift cards, please email Emily Fetcko at emily.fetcko@eriedowntown.com.
Recipients will be able to now hold a balance on the digital gift card giving them the ability to spend it at multiple locations. Digital gift cards are emailed to the recipient and customers can create their own message for the intended recipient. For companies or organizations that may want to purchase the digital gift cards in bulk, Yiftee offers a bulk discount program. Anyone holding the former paper gift certificate can still redeem the gift certificate, but paper gift certificates are no longer sold.
