Glass Growers Gallery is celebrating 50 years in downtown Erie. This milestone is a testament to the incredible support of our cherished customers and community. On Saturday, June 1 from 2-6 pm, join us on the Erie Art Museum patio for our Anniversary Party. We will have food from A Waffle Miracle and drinks from Purrista Cat Cafe with special menu items for the occasion. Loveletters.ink is developing a flower cart reminiscent of the GGG flower cart from the 70’s and 80’s with a make-your-own bouquet option and Erie Art Museum docents will be leading a DIY Kaleidoscope activity. Entertainment: *Stephen Trohoske will be performing in the 2-4 pm range *Lindsay Vendetti and Eric Brewer will be performing in the 4-6 pm range *Jennifer Dennehy will be hoop dancing and teaching alongside these music performances with a featured performance during the transition period. She will also be selling handmade hoops in both kid and adult sizes. During this event, GGG will be featuring its “Celebrating 50 Years” exhibit with 10 long-standing GGG artists, historical photos and flyers, kaleidoscopes, terrariums, GGG Since 1974 t-shirts designed by Erie Apparel, custom lip balm from The Balm Shop, and more. This event is free and open to the public. No RSVP required.
