FAQs

I’d like to be part of a Block Party. How do I apply?

Each year applications are made available to businesses within the Erie Downtown Partnership District to host a Block Party.  Applications are posted to our website in late January/early February.  If you are a band, charity or entertainment act, you would need to reach out to potential applicants to be considered as a part of their applications.  The host establishments hire and coordinate all entertainment acts and charitable activities.

There are people loitering outside my place of businesses.  What do I do?

If the loiter appears to be a safety risk or argumentative, you may choose to call the City of Erie Police non-emergency line at (814) 870-1125.  If the situation escalates to an emergency, call 911.
