Downtown d'Lights

The Erie Downtown Partnership will host the 11th Annual Downtown d’Lights celebration that kicks off the official holiday season in Downtown Erie on Friday, December 2nd from 5 – 8 PM.

This year introduces a new lighting scheme for Perry Square including new LED lights, garland, red ribbon and classy details designed by landscape architect Weiss-Early, who generously donated elements to enhance the park’s holiday look.

Friday, December 2nd, 2016

5:00 to 5:20 – North Coast Brass Company, park activities

5:20 to 5:30 – Lake Effect Hoop Troop

5:30 to 5:45 – YMCA ‘Winter Wonderland Workout’

5:45 to 6:00 – Erie Playhouse Showstoppers

6:00 to 6:05 – Santa and Mayor Sinnott arrive via EMTA Trolley

6:10/6:15 – Santa and Mayor Sinnott flip the switch in Perry Square

6:20 to 8:00 – Santa at UPMC Health Plan, park activities resume

Park Activities include free coffee and hot chocolate courtesy of the Erie Vet Center, free children’s cookies provided by Ye Olde Sweets, free horse drawn carriage rides courtesy of Conn’s Carriages, ice carvings by Erie Ice Works and music provided by DJ Bill Page.
