Perry Square Alliance hosts 3rd Annual Party Off the Park on September 18, 2014.

On Thursday, September 18, 2014 the Perry Square Alliance will host their third annual Party Off the Park Fundraiser.  This year’s event will honor The Honorable Phi English and City of Erie Mayor Joseph Sinnott.  The event is expected to be attended by members of the community, Perry Square Sponsors, and many of Mayor Sinnott and Phil English’s dedicated supporters.  Many of the sponsor dollars came from those that serve on the Board of Directors, including Northwest Savings Bank, PNC, The Erie Downtown Partnership, Erie Insurance, Gannon University, Richford Arms, Highpoint Towers & MidCity Towers.  Some of the 2014 Host Committee Sponsors include Jeff & Amy Brinling, Bob & Christie Ferrier, Gloria & Wally Knox, Kidder Wachter Architecture & Design, The Honorable Bob Merski, Sunburst Electronics, Inc and Nurturing Hearts.

Each year, Perry Square Alliance honors a person or organization that has made a significant impact on Perry Square and the Downtown Erie community. Our Board and Event Committee could not think of any other person that is more deserving than The Honoroable Phil English and City of Erie Mayor Joseph Sinnott  for their efforts and generosity towards helping the City of Erie to obtain a $500,000 grant for the restoration and beautification improvements detailed in the Perry Square Master Plan

The 2014 Event is Chaired by Attorney Emily Mosco-Merski.  She recruited a young committee of up and coming community leaders, that include Jennifer Snow, Perry Square Alliance President; Christina Katen, Erie Downtown Partnership;  Jennifer Marz, Northwest Savings Bank;  Jamey Stewart, Mega Media Factory; Emily Antolik, Erie Zoo and Lesley Ridge of Socialution Media.  Jim W. Martin of Bankable Consulting, LLC and incoming President of Perry Square Alliance also serves on the event committee.

The event will be held from 5:30-8:30 at the Cathedral of St. Paul Event Space on West 7th Street.  Catering will be by Make It Fabulous, with décor by Alburns Florists and sound and audio by Mega Media Factory.  Sponsorship opportunities are still available and tickets are now on sale.  Please inquire with Christina Katen at (814)455-3743 or
